During the May 28th school board meeting, Mr. Robby Frizzell was chosen to serve as the high school principal for the Parkers Chapel School District. Mr. Frizzell has been in public school education for the past 27 years. His experience includes serving as a school superintendent, he has taught math in grade levels ranging from 5th - 12th for 16 years. He has also served as elementary principal for Taylor Elementary School and he has coached baseball and basketball for 20 years.
Mr. Frizzell stated, I want to be a part of a district that shares my belief that academics must be put first. I believe the Parkers Chapel School District and more specifically, its high school to be such.”
As principal of Taylor Elementary School, the school never received a grade below a “B” on the state report card and held an “A” when he left. In 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2023, Taylor Elementary ranked among the top 5% of all Arkansas schools for performance or growth.
Mr. Frizzell’s wife of 18 years works as an X-Ray tech. They have three children, two are teachers and their youngest son just graduated from Taylor High School.
