Family STEM Night is getting closer. Come learn how to work on your
superpowers with Photoshop to create unique images and take a tour of new
STEM Engineering Lab. We also will have door prizes that include a Voice
Controlled Drone and Solar Robots.
Join us for our PC Family STEM Night on August 11 where you can
“Unleash Your Superpower with STEM” by working with Robots and learning how
to make your own decals. We will also be giving away door prizes that include a
Solar Robot and two Apple IPad Airs.
The Parkers Chapel Elementary "Open House" times have been set. The doors will open at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16th and close at 7:00 p.m. Parents will need to bring student supplies to "Open House" and leave them in their child's homeroom. Activity fees for planners, folders, and technology use and insurance will need to be paid that night. Grade level meetings will be held in the auditorium. Parents will need to complete paperwork in their child's homeroom either before or after the grade level meeting.
Meeting times: 4th Grade - 4:30 p.m.; 3rd Grade - 5:00 p.m.; 2nd Grade - 5:30 p.m.; 1st Grade - 6:00 p.m.; and Kindergarten - 6:30 p.m.

PC Family STEM Night Sneak Peek 2 – Join us and learn how to use Lasers
and Engravers, take a tour of an ambulance, and learn CPR. We also have some
great door prizes including two Apple ipads, two programable mechanical robot Coding Kits, and two Meta Quest Oculus Virtual Reality headsets. Come “Unleash Your Superpower with STEM” on August 11 th !

The Free & Reduced Meal Application is now online. It can be accessed from the Parkers Chapel Website/Phone App. It will also be in every child’s open house packet.
Parkers Chapel wants to let families know that the federal USDA waiver that allowed schools to feed students free expired June 30, 2022. The USDA did not extend it for school year 2022-2023.
We are urging families that qualify to fill out an application so services can start as soon as possible. Families that do not qualify for free or reduced lunches will have to pay regular lunch prices this year.

Attached is a page that shows the login information. It is the same login for each student in their grade level. Use this for summer practice, review, new learning, and long rides in the car!

PCHS: Reminder!! All students must return their chromebooks and chargers before they leave for the summer. If they are not returned, the students will not be allowed to register for next year. Parents/Guardians, please check with students to make sure all chromebooks and chargers have been returned.
Kindergarten Gradates- A parent accidentally picked up Sophia Cauley’s keepsake pizza box from the K tables. Please check to make sure you have the correct box. If you have Sophia’s, please return it to the school.
PCHS: All students must return their chromebooks and chargers before they leave for the summer. If they are not returned, the students will not be allowed to register for next year.
Reminder Correction: Kindergarten awards will be received on Tuesday with their graduation diplomas. Awards tomorrow will be for 1st - 3rd grades.
Reminders: (1) Tuesday will be the last day for aftercare. (2) Pre-k graduation is tomorrow morning. (3) Awards for K-3 will be tomorrow afternoon. Each grade will have awards separately. (4) Kindergarten graduation is Tuesday morning.(5) Awards for 4-6 will be Tuesday afternoon . Again, each grade will receive awards separately. (6) Self - addressed stamped envelopes should be sent to homeroom teachers if you want a paper copy of your child’s report card mailed home. Copies of report cards may be picked up this summer in the elementary office if an envelope is not provided.
