Parents: If your student is 16 years old or older, they will be bringing home information packets and registration forms for the COVID-19 vaccine today. Please look over this information and complete the registration form if you would like for your child to be vaccinated. Completed forms are due back to the High School office by 3 pm this Friday, April 9th. As soon as we have a date set for the vaccination clinic we will send out another message.
Report cards were sent home with students today. Grades have also been posted on the HAC website.
Report cards will be sent home this Wednesday. School will be dismissed early this Thursday (4/1/21). Prek pickup will be 12:00-12:30; Elementary Car Line will be 12:35 - 1:00; Buses will leave at 1:30. There will be no aftercare on Thursday. School will not be in session on Friday due to a scheduled break.
Tomorrow, between 8 AM - 12 PM, the ABC Preschool teachers will be under the awning behind the gym (back parking lot), handing out ABC preschool packets. They will also have some paid prek packets & Kindergarten registration packets if you need to pick one up.
Elementary: Tomorrow is Spring picture day. We will also take classroom group pictures. The Yearbook Staff will be taking Easter Bunny pictures for those that turned in a form & money. We will also announce the amount of money raised tomorrow & the top 10 that get to shave Mr.Hoover’s head... just in time for Spring Break!
DOG IN CAR LINE / PARKING LOT - a beautiful boxer with a collar (no name or address) has been coming to the back parking lot during the morning and day. Today the dog crossed Evans Drive and held up the car line. If anyone knows who this dog belongs to please let them know it is on the loose and was last seen at the Lloyd's house right beside the fence entering the back parking lot.
Community Fund Raiser - Tomorrow (Wednesday 3/17) is the last day to make a donation to the 50/50 community fund raiser. High School students may turn in money at the office or during the lunch period. Elementary students need to turn their money in to their teachers. Please send any amount you can to help out. Even $1 or $5 will make a difference in someone's life. Donations will be split between the #teamcorrie cancer foundation and the men injured in the Delek fire/explosion. Checks need to be made payable to PC Activity. "I wonder who will get to shave Mr. Hoover's head?"
Kindergarten and the PC (paid) Preschool Registration will be handing out registration packets this evening between 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in front of the elementary building (pull along next to the awning out front). These packets need to be completed and returned to the elementary office, or they can be dropped of Thursday evening 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the same location. Physicals are not required to turn in the packet, but need to be done before school starts in August 2021. Please spread the word so students are added to the enrollment list for 2021-2022 school year.

Elementary ACT Aspire Testing Dates Announced: 6th grade students will take the state ACT Aspire test on April 20, 21, and 22. 3rd through 5th grade students will take the ACT Aspire test on April 27, 28, and 29. Virtual students will take the ACT Aspire Test on the same dates as their classmates.
Parkers Chapel School will be raising money for a community service project beginning today. Students will be able to donate as many times as possible to their homeroom. 100% of this money will be donated to the following charities: (1) #teamcorrie and (2) Delek workers hospitalized following the recent fire/explosion at the local plant. Mr. Hoover and the school chose to donate 50% of the money raised to #teamcorrie in memory of Mrs. Corrie Gross Bechtelheimer. The other 50% will be will be given to the Delek burn victims to assist with their families' needs as they recover. Any amount you can give will be truly appreciated. High school will be divided in to 2 groups, 7-9th graders and 10-12th graders. The group that raises the most money will win an ice cream party. Please place money or checks in an envelope with your child's name on the outside; make checks out to PC Activity. Thank you in advance for helping us - help our community. Money will be collected Friday, March 12 through Wednesday March 17.
Elementary Testing Dates Announced: NWEA Map Growth Assessments for Kindergarten, First, and Second Grades will be May 5th (Math) and May 6th (Literacy). NWEA Map Growth Testing for virtual K, 1, and 2 students will be May 10th and May 11th at 8:30 AM.
Elementary Upcoming Dates to Remember: March 16 (pick up Kindergarten and Preschool registration packets); March 17 (AR points are due); March 18 (return Kindergarten and Prek registration packets); March 18 (spring pictures and classroom group pictures); March 19 (end of grading period); March 19 (early dismissal for all students - prek 12:00-12:30; car line 12:35-1:00; bus riders 1:30); March 22-March 26 (spring break - no school); April 1 (early dismissal for all 12:00 -12:30 prek; car line 12:35-1:00; bus riders 1:30); April 2 (no school - Good Friday).
Kindergarten and the Paid PC Preschool registration will look a little different this year. Next Tuesday (March 16th) parents of students entering kindergarten next year will be able to pull up in front of our school and pick up a kindergarten packet from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. This packet will have papers that need to be completed. We will need copies of birth certificates, social security cards, and shot records. You will have until the new school year to obtain your child's physical from a doctor. The packets must be dropped off on Thursday, March 18th , from 5:30-7:30 PM. Parents that wish to enroll their child in the Paid PC Preschool Program will also be able to pick up a packet at the same time. These will also be due back on Thursday, March 18, from 5:30-7:30 PM. The cost for the paid program next year will be $120 weekly.
Packets may also be picked up at any time at the elementary office between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Please spread the word.

The top ten donating students will get to take a swipe with the clippers and shave Mr. Hoover's head next Thursday afternoon on the playground.
