The "live feed" message from then nurse will not post the attachment. I am contacting the website representative to determine the issue. I have reposted this under the "NEWS" section on our website and I am attempting to attach the poster again to this message. It is a CDC poster that explains when a student should stay home due to an illness.
A message from the nurse:
This is a reminder that all students may eat breakfast and lunch FREE until the end of December. 3rd through 6th may add an extra entree or a double of their entree choice if they have $2 cash to hand to the cafeteria clerk at the time of purchase. Money must remain in accounts for extra milk. It is extremely important that you complete the child nutrition free or reduced lunch forms sent home if you qualify for assistance before Sept. 25th. If you need another form, please call 870-862-4641 ext 130 and request one, or send a note to your child’s teacher. Qualification for free or reduced status will take effect in January, but is needed now for federal reporting. If your income has changed or if it changes throughout the year, please remember to apply. If you have any questions, please email jacksont@parkerschapelschool.com or bursonc@parkerschapelschool.com

Water Bottles - Please remember to wash and send clean - filled water bottles with students each day. There are no available water fountains. There are water bottle refilling stations. It is hot and students get thirsty throughout the day. We provide opportunities often throughout the day to refill water bottles. Each student needs to bring their refillable bottle each day. Thank you for your help with this. (idea: clip it to the backpack - wash and sanitize as soon as they are home; clip back to backpack; each morning refill)
This is reminder to check your child's backpack. Each student is supposed to have two extra masks in their backpack or in a designated area determined by their teacher. We have had to provide several masks today. Wash and restock backpacks this weekend please. If students don't have extras, we will have to call parents to bring them if they need arises. Thanks for helping take care of this over the weekend.
This is a reminder that Homecoming was moved to October 9th. We are not dismissing early today. We have had a few phone calls and wanted to remind everyone of this change.
We had some classes make great donations for the hurricane victims in Lake Charles & donations for the emergency workers trying to rebuild the city’s structure. However, some rooms had zero items donated. So... we are competing for 2nd place. Bring items in the morning and take to homerooms. We will count and deliver to Elite Nutrition before lunch. Thanks for teaching your children to give to those in need.
Reminder (1) tomorrow is the yearbook picture day - all employees & all students will be photographed; (2) tomorrow is last day to make a donation to be taken to Lake Charles, LA
