This is a reminder that we will not have school on Friday, March 29, 2024, in observance of Good Friday.
Kindergarten and Preschool registration has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 28th, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Registration will be located in the school's auditorium and lobby. All current preschool and kindergarten students will not attend school on this day. Teachers will be assisting with the enrollment/registration process. No physicals will be available on this day due to a conflict with the rescheduled date. All incoming kindergarten students will need to attend registration with their parent. A beginning kindergarten assessment will be administered to each student registering. Please bring the proper documents to registration.
Kindergarten and Pre-K Registration is Friday, March 15th from 8:30 - 12:00 in the Auditorium lobby. Please bring birth certificate (state issued original), social security card, shot records, two proofs of residency and the student. We will do physicals on site and the Kindergarten teachers will do a quick assessment with each child for beginning data purposes. All curren Kindergarten and Pre-K students will not attend regular class this day.

Students in 3rd - 10th grades will be taking the ATLAS Summative Writing Test tomorrow morning. Please make sure students are on time to school and get a good night's rest. Please do not check students out unless it is an emergency. Once they start the test, an appeal will have to be submitted to the state department if they do not finish.

PC Yearbook will be selling Cupcake-Grams for Valentine's Day. The order form can be found at https://5il.co/2e8a8 and the last day to order is February 9th. Cupcakes will be delivered on February 14th. Cupcakes are $2 each and all proceeds will go towards the 2023-2024 yearbook.
Elementary: This is a reminder that we will have early dismissal Friday, Feb. 9, for the "Basketball Sweetheart" ceremony. Prek - early checkout will be at the designated prek pickup spots 12:00-12:20, k-4 early checkout will be 12:00-12:30 at the elementary office. Parents must send a note to teachers that their child will be checked out early. The office will close at 12:30 for the ceremony. The elementary car line will start loading at 1:10. The buses will run at 1:30.
Elementary: This is a reminder that school will dismiss early this Thursday, Feb. 1, for Parent - Teacher Conferences. Prek Pick-Up will be from 12:15-12:45, the Elementary Car line will load from 1:00-1:20, and the buses will load at 1:30. Conferences will begin at 1:45. We will also have early dismissal on Feb. 9, for the Sweetheart ceremony.

This is a reminder that the Second Grade Family Breakfast is scheduled for next Wednesday, January 31, from 8:15-9:00 a.m. If you have not notified your child's teacher that you will be attending, please send a note with a count of how many will be in attendance. The cost per adult family member attending is $2.75.
Parkers Chapel School District Bus Information: Starting this afternoon, Tuesday, January 23rd, all bus routes will return to their normal routes. Students will be dropped off and picked up at their normal locations.
Parkers Chapel School District Bus information for Tuesday, January 23rd: Buses will run at normal times, but they will not be able to travel down the following roads: Glenn Road, Pickering Road, Souix Nation Road, Feedmill Road, and they cannot go past the playground in Bounds Trailer Park. You may bring students to the main roads to be picked up by the bus or to the playground in Bounds Trailer Park. We are continuing to monitor road conditions and will let you know if any changes will be made for Wednesday.
