Summer Meals Program


Elementary students will participate in "Field Day" games and activities tomorrow on the playground. They will need to dress appropriately for PE type activities and wear tennis shoes.

Tomorrow our 3rd, 4th, & 5th students begin their state level ACT Aspire standardized test. This test will be administered Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week. We ask that our students are well rested, eat a good breakfast. and remember their eye glasses if needed. We will test from the beginning of the day until close to lunchtime. Third and fourth grade students are being asked to wear PC Blue shirts tomorrow for our first testing day (if they have one).

K-2 & 4th grade students will continue working on their NWEA assessments tomorrow. The students have been working really hard and we can't wait to see their results! The 3rd grade students will be off campus tomorrow on a field trip.

K-3 started their NWEA testing today!!! We will continue testing tomorrow and 4th grade will test tomorrow as well. The students worked really hard today and we can't wait to see their growth charts! We will continue the NWEA assessments this week and celebrate Friday with an ice-cream party.

Tomorrow the elementary students will begin their NWEA assessments. They will be testing throughout this week. The K-2 students will have a testing pep rally and the teachers have asked that they wear PC Blue shirts if possible. Third & fourth grades will have an ACT Aspire pep rally at another time. We hope all students are present & ready to show the world all the great things they have learned this year!

PCES: We will celebrate "Read Across America" next week along with Dr. Seuss's birthday. The Elementary School will have dress-up days to show our excitement about reading. Please use the following schedule next week if your child participates in our fun.
Monday - "The Cat in the Hat" day ... wear your favorite hat.
Tuesday -NO DRESS-UP DAY ... SPRING PICTURES
Wednesday - "Oh, the Places You Will Go" .... Dress up in your dream career attire.
Thursday - "Whoville Hair Day", "Thing One and Thing Two", or "Fox in Socks" ... Dress with crazy hair, dress as Thing One or Thing Two, dress as a Dr. Seuss Character, or wear a Dr. Seuss themed shirt or crazy socks.
Friday - "Green Eggs and Ham" ... wear GREEN day.

Come see Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr tomorrow (Sat) at 2pm at the PC Auditorium. One show only! Tickets are $5 at the door. There will also be a dessert auction before the show and during intermission.


PC Elementary & PreK: This is a reminder that tomorrow Parent - Teacher Conferences will be held from 1:45-6:00 p.m. Teachers will attend a mandatory meeting from 6:00-6:30 p.m. Early release times will follow this schedule: PreK - pickup 12:30-1:00 at your regular pickup location. Kindergarten through Fourth Grade car line - load from 1:00-1:20. Buses - run at 1:30. If there is a change due to inclement weather, a message will be sent out.

Due to inclement weather, our after care program will close today at 4:15 p.m. Please make arrangements to pick up your child before 4:15 today if he / she attends the after care program. Thank you for your cooperation.

Due to upcoming inclement weather, Parkers Chapel School District will be using an AMI day on Wednesday, February 1st. The school campus will be closed. Students in grades K-5 will be bringing home AMI work today, and it will also be posted on our website. Students in grades 6-12 will need to check Google Classroom for their assignments. As of right now, school will resume on campus, Thursday, February 2nd.

There will be. menu change for Monday, January 30 and Tuesday, January 31. This change will apply to Prek - 12th grade. Monday’s scheduled lunch will be served on Tuesday and Tuesday’s scheduled lunch will be served on Monday.
